Align the ruleragainst the hopping foot and place the edge of the tab at the point where you want to end up. (The tab measures 1/4" from circle edge to the edge of the tab.)
While applying pressure to the inner circle, rotate the outer circle to the right to move tab out of the sewing path.
While applying pressure to the outer circle, stitch to the desired point.
black circle = hopping white dot = needle
Here are some easy ideas that can be created with your CQT tabbed circle.
CROSSHATCH TRIANGLE
1. Use the left side of the triangle to sew the first part of the crosshatch line, sewing
upard. Stop at the seam line with the needle in the down position.
2. Move the ruler to the other side of the hopping foot without moving the needle. (1.) Sew
down to the other seam or the edge of the quilt, whichever it may be. (2.) Travel over to start
the next Crosshatch line. (3.) Move ruler to the hopping foot. Sew up the right side of the ruler
to the seam. (4.) Now move the ruler to the other side of the hopping foot and sew down the
left side of the ruler.
